Cornerstone Therapeutic Riding Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of wounded and recovering service members, veterans, first responders and their families.
Since 2008, Cornerstone has been providing programs and services developed specifically for all who have sacrificed and served. Some with catastrophic physical injuries, some with traumatic brain injury, some who have experienced Military Sexual Trauma (MST) and, virtually all who come to Cornerstone, are recovering from the emotional and mental health challenges as a result of their time in service.
Cornerstone was founded on the guiding principles of service to others, commitment to our community, education, and making a positive impact in the disabled community. We are a member of the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH) and are led by PATH certified instructors. We are committed to professional excellence and are dedicated to following the standards set forth by PATH to ensure safety, quality, and success for our clients. We actively participate in on-going education to maximize the quality of the lessons we provide and the overall experience for each student.
Our ranch offers a peaceful and serene environment with spectacular views, abundant wildlife, access to hundreds of acres of trails and nature walks, in a peaceful environment where our clients thrive. Cornerstone’s unique environment is like no other program in San Diego and is a significant component of the therapeutic experience.
