Update on Daka

First off we want to thank EVERYONE for your outpouring of support. It has been amazing. Its touching to see how many people understand how special and powerful horses can be in our lives.

Sadly, it is with a heavy heart we have to report that Daka even though came through surgery well, due to secondary and unanticipated issues during recovery was no longer able to go on. She passed peacefully on Friday March 13th. It was, as always, a painful decision to let her go, it would not have been fair to ask her to stay. In true Daka fashion she gave it her all to get better. But, it just wasn’t meant to be.

She will forever be missed but, in her honor we will continue to give our students the best, as she always did…….. Healing, loving and growing with every stride.

Please help us continue to meet our financial goal to cover the costs of her surgery. We want to be able to continue to give the best to our other equine co-workers as we have always done and did for Daka.
